That’s a fantastic recovery story, Sophia! I’ve had similar success with a rubber plant that was suffering from root rot due to overwatering. I carefully removed it from the pot, trimmed away the mushy roots, and let it dry out for a day. Then I repotted it in fresh, well-draining soil and made sure the pot had drainage holes. I also cut back on watering, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out before giving it a drink. Within a few weeks, it started showing new leaves and has been thriving ever since!
